I took a look at the area below the Patterson bridge and the creek looks too choked in vegetation to walk. The whole area of fields and creeks there is pretty bad habitat these days. I personally think the most productive area would be the willows below the gas plant but it's a real hassle birding in there with all the spider webs in your face.

Has anyone birded the creek lately? If so, what is the habitat like? It used to be a great draw for migrants/vagrants, but in recent years the habitat has been less than ideal.
