Devereux Common Tern

Nick Lethaby

All:

There is a first-winter Common Tern at Devereux. It is probably commuting between the beach and the S. end of the slough. There are a few more shorebirds around as the plovers are starting to roost on the slough more:

BB Plover 152
SP Plover 57
W. Sandpiper c.30
Least Sandpiper c.6
LB Dowitcher 6
Spotted Sandpiper 2
Greater Yellowlegs 1

The Whitefronted Goose continues.
