Black-and-white warbler at Carpinteria Creek

John Callender

I had good, though brief, views of a single female black-and-white warbler foraging in a live oak on the west bank of Carpinteria Creek about 75 south of Sixth Street at 10:45 this morning.

This was part of a really fun outing with a bunch of newer birders, though unfortunately they'd left by then and it was just me who saw the bird. I'll put more details in the eBird report shortly.
