This morning I looked in vain for the Red-necked Grebe in the SB Harbor. There
was a Horned Grebe (my first this winter--perhaps not so many around?), an
Osprey, and a 1st winter White-winged Scoter that joined the scoter flock at
the mouth of the harbor. A few photos:
On Thursday morning at Laguna Blanca the Ross's Goose continued, along with 20
Cackling and several Greater White-fronted Geese. I'm pretty sure the female
Eurasian Wigeon was also there.
