- Comments: "With Semipalmated Plovers and Yellowlegs near steps. Considerably lighter than WESA I saw later down the beach. Very light colored, bold white eyebrow. Straight - not droopy bill, dark legs. This is my best ID guess after reviewing photos this morning."

- Comments: "Continuing bird. A small shorebird, about the size of a Pectoral Sandpiper, altho probably a little larger. Watery yellow legs (not bright ), nice white spots on the back, a medium length bill and a white complete eyering. The bird was foraging in the reeds at the southeast arm of the lake, accompanied by several other shorebirds."

- Comments: "Continuing bird reported yesterday by Hugh Ranson. Extended close views through binoculars as it fed on the ground under the small pepper trees planted at the semicircular stone bench. Grayish brown Spizella sparrow, narrowly streaked crown with no central median stripe, complete narrow white eye ring, relatively plain face pattern, narrowly streaked nape, plain breast, long plain tail. I’m familiar with the bird from seeing it on its breeding territory in the Eastern Sierra sagebrush; it was neat to see it here."

- Comments: "Continuing. Seen at very close range in some short lemonade berry bushes just west of the campground bridge. At its closest position, was too close to use binoculars. Was also seen briefly in the very tall Eucalyptus west of the bridge. The close views showed the very light grey underside, clearly-defined white eye ring, yellow patches on breast, rump and undertail coverts. Top of head looked a little darker than gray upperparts. Chipped often with a bright and loud chip."
