- Comments: "Continuing, where the slough met the back of the dunes.. In scope I could see the yellow behind bill coming to an angle &lt; 90 degrees. Also very small next to DCCO. Carrying around some grass or something."

- Comments: "Continuing. Arrived at first pullout, where saw small, brownish cormorant perched on a log next to a Double-crested Cormorant, exactly where it had been on my previous visit. Noting that the light was better, I went to get my camera, and the bird had flown, not to be refound again. Small, brownish cormorant, considerably shorter than the Double-crested Cormorant adjacent. Saw orange bill with no color in loral area, faint white "arrow" delineating the gular/bill area & pointing hindwards. Searched for it at bridge to nowhere pullout with no luck."
