Devereux, Wednesday morning

Hugh Ranson

A pair of Blue-winged Teal were feeding along the east side of the slough. Besides Snowy Plovers, not much in the way of shorebirds except a Black-bellied Plover along the beach and 2 Avocets at NCOS. The Neotropic Cormorant was resting on the sand towards the moth of the slough. A Say's Phoebe was on the beach at the trail to the Dune Pond.
