- Comments: "Two juvenile, grayish-brown night-herons were present west of the Devereux Slough half bridge around noon today. One of these was found by Tom Turner earlier in the morning. Features that distinguish these 2 birds from the nearby juvenile Black-crowned Night-Heron were the white lateral margins of the greater secondary coverts, the stubbier bill, and the longer legs. When I left the Reserve at 1:30pm, only a single YCNH was present at the half bridge."
