- Comments: "Flying east, low, about 1/2 mile offshore. Wasn't at all sure of the ID when I observed it, but from the photos I think it looks pretty good for an adult male Blue-Winged Teal. I note the large blue patch on the inner part of the upper wing with a broad white border behind it, warm brown underparts contrasting with a grayish head, and in a few photos a hint of the white face crescent behind the bill."
