I birded a couple of Florence’s stops today also, but a couple hours after her according to the register book at GSD. I missed the YCNH but, I did see some Night-Herons in the pine tree, but I did not look at them. At GSD I saw one Green-winged Teal, one Red-necked Phalarope and a couple California Gulls, one looked very young and Cinnamony. Also seen was a Peregrine Falcon milling around over the lagoons.
Goleta Beach was pretty slow, I expected to see the falcon perched up on its favorite snag, nope.
Area K was pretty good. I counted 21 White-faced Ibis, which means there could have been more. All of the other reported birds were seen.
I did not visit Devereux Slough, it seems to be getting covered pretty well lately.
I want to thank everybody that posts to this list-serve. It saves me and many other birders valuable time that travel to these locations.
Thank you and good birding.
