- Comments: "Small grebe associating with Pied-Billed. Strongly marked cap, with 'rear-peaked' not rounded head, and strong white auricular. Attempted photographs but dawn light insufficient for any definition. Attached photos taken at 1600 1S0 with wide open lens. White cheek and head shape just about visible. No longer present at 3 p.m."

- Comments: "Continuing bird found yesterday by Nick Lethaby. Good views from the creekbed 150 feet north of the 8th Street Bridge as the bird foraged low on the west bank giving occasional chips. Small plain warbler, medium gray above and lighter below, prominent white eye ring, bright yellow undertail coverts. Frequent downward tail flicking."
