- Comments: "Two adults in alternate on the far shoreline. Possibly in SLO county. These two looked to be paired. Only came out in the open briefly then turned back into the bulrushes out of my view. Too distant to photograph"

- Comments: "Large bird with thick gray bill. Continuing bird. Reported several times at this location. Resting in bushes East of entrance bridge, see photos taken at 11:37AM and 12:20PM. Bird seen first with eyes open, then eyes closed. Immature Black-Crowned Night Heron nearby."

- Comments: "Observed from sand spit area at South East corner of lake. These three large dark birds with their typical long curved bills circled in formation once above the the lake and then flew off towards North-West. Unfortunately, I could not take any photos."

- Comments: "Identified by behavior, movements in a wash, the movements of his tail, and breast pattern. I immediately assumed it was a hermit thrush. A few minutes later i was able to look through the field guide, which confirmed that my identification was correct."
