- Comments: "Saw it foraging on the wrack next to Sanderlings and one Black-bellied Plover. We could easily note the size difference with this bird being quite a bit smaller and more slender. It was a warmer color and the feathers appeared to have more scalloped edges."

- Comments: "Found the bird at 10:56 AM about 150 yards N of Parking Lot 6 stairs mingling with Sanderlings, but it flew off before I could get my camera on it. Reacquired it at 11:42 AM about 0.1 miles N of stairs and again it flew off before I could get a photo, alighting on the beach wrack about 0.2 miles N of the stairs. This time however I clearly noticed its white rump as it flew away. Reacquired it for a final time at 12:08 PM about 0.25 mile N of the stairs and took many photos of the bird feeding until 12:25 PM, when it once again flew off and exposed its white rump to view. Photos to follow."
