Common Goldeneye at Carpinteria Creek

Gayle Hackamack and I had great closeup views of a female Common Goldeneye at the mouth of Carpinteria Creek this am (Fri).  There was not much else of note except for 3 male Green-winged Teal and a couple of female Buffleheads.  We also saw a Red-tailed Hawk fly low over the water with a Coot dangling from its talons.  Further up the creek near the fire gate entrance to the condos, there were several American Goldfinch bathing in a pool.  We did not see the N. Waterthrush or the YB Chat.
