- Comments: "Seen after 19:00, flying over fields in south central part of mesa. Larger owl, medium dark color. Buff patch near tip of wing somewhat visible, Shape and flight behavior was that of a Short-eared Owl.
A second bird joined, and both were seen together in flight, interacting."
