SB Harbor Area and Sandspit June 20

I walked down form Shoreline Park this morning.  It was low tide and a great day for the walk, but birds were very scarce.  No Shorebirds were seen on Ledbetter Beach and the few Gulls were Westerns with a couple of Heerman's Gulls.  In the Harbor area and out on the sandspit, it was pretty much the same story--no shorebirds and only a modest group of resting gulls.  The flock was again mostly Western Gulls, with about a dozen Heerman's Gulls and one or two scruffy California Gulls.  A good-sized group of Brown Pelicans was resting on the inner edge of the sandspit breakwater and there were a couple of Snowy Egrets feeding in the shallows.  Not much else to report!
