Hello all,     The Curlew Sandpiper was relocated this morning on the brackish pond approximately 300 yards NW of Ocean Pk. The fog made viewing difficult early on. The persistant folks were rewarded. The bird favored the north end of the pond  and , at times, would fly; revealing the white underwing and a whitish uppertail. Over the morning , the bird became increasingly nervous. When last observed at 2pm, the bird was resting at the NW end of pond. A reminder to anyone seeking this bird: cross the tracks at your own risk, stay away from posted Plover areas, and remember, this is part of Vandenberg AFB.
