Since I received no response to my query on Curlew Sandpiper sightings, I
assume no one in SB County has looked for the bird recently. An LA birder
did confirm that the bird was seen on Monday

I saw the CuSa, but got no photos. Saw it poorly, anyway. I don't join in
the assumptions that this is probably the same bird, until someone offers a
little proof.
