Chase Palm Park by carousel house
One euc by carousel house is very lerpy and had a Blackpoll, 12 Yellow and a few other warblers. Creek behind park has access closed so now access is from RR tracks. 2 GW Fronted Geese casually

Saturday, Oct. 2 - the Green-tailed Towhee was in the same spot when I was there at about 9:30 this morning. I watched it take a bath in the nearby water feature. Very cooperative birdie.

Please help me ID this bird. I could clearly see rufous under his tail and on top of his head. This bird was seen in my backyard in Goleta near Cathedral Oaks and Los Carneros.

Late Afternoon Lake Los Carneros
Did a loop around Lake Los Carneros late this afternoon starting around 5 PM. I saw my first white-crowned sparrows and American wigeon of the season, so it's beginning to look like winter. 20+ each
