Shorebirds East Beach and Goleta

Mission Creek estuary had a lot of people, not many species, but lots of big brown shorebirds:  

Area K had 2 American Avocets, a Lesser Yellowlegs, and a Virginia Rail issued a single 'grunt' sequence from the ditch below the bluff.
Devereux Slough had 1 Am. Avocet, a juvenile Yellow-crowned Night-Heron was south of the half-bridge, and the Neotropic Cormorant showed its extensive molt. See pic.
