Devereux was thick with fog when I passed by this morning. Mostly geese, ducks, herons, egrets, and black necked stilts. Neotropic still present at half-bridge. Couldn’t pull out the yellow crowned night herons though.
Sands Beach/Coal Oil Point is decently active. Black-bellied Plovers, semi-palpated Plovers, snowy plovers, western and least sandpipers, willets, one long-billed curlew. The fog has cleared so views are improving.
The wrack from last nights high tide is all the way behind the plover fence, so it is somewhat difficult to pick through those birds.
