Tepusquet Road and Colson Canyon

All:

On my way to Colson Canyon today, I witnessed about 100 Wild Turkeys in the newly cut fields near 4273 Tepusquet Road.  While I often see Wild Turkeys in these fields, this was by far the most I've seen at one time.  Several of the males were displaying.  The only birds of note in Colson Canyon were a single Pine Siskin, a few Rufous Crowned Sparrows and a Merlin near the perennial stream about 1/2 mile past the USFS gate at the terminus of Colson Canyon Road.
